What is the 20 Day Health Challenge?

  • The 20-Day Health Challenge is an easy-to-implement 4-step classroom program that helps students focus on making healthy day-to-day lifestyle choices.
  • Students are “challenged” to make healthy lifestyle and nutrition choices for 20 consecutive days.
  • Daily goals are provided to guide students in making healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack choices, as well as physical activity. Students can also focus on sleep quality and screen time.
  • Each student receives a tracking poster, which displays a series of 20-day checklists students can use to track their daily choices during the challenge.
  • A comprehensive Teacher’s Guide outlines the four main steps involved in the program. (Self-Survey, Goals and Obstacles, 20-day Tracking & Reflection). A variety of Health/P.E. learning outcomes are covered by the program.
  • Suitable for Grades 5-12. Families and staff can also participate
